Dermal Filler Training Courses — Frequently Asked Questions

Eligibility, content, accreditation and pricing for HSI filler training.

Who can enrol on a dermal filler training course at HSI?
Practical filler training is restricted to UK-registered healthcare professionals — doctors (GMC), dentists (GDC), nurses (NMC), pharmacists (GPhC) and dental therapists. Non-registered learners may study the online theory modules but are not permitted to inject on live models in clinic.
How long does Foundation dermal filler training take?
Foundation Dermal Fillers is a single intensive day (approximately 8 hours) at Harley Street, London W1. The day combines facial anatomy, product rheology, cannula vs needle selection, complication management (including hyalase protocols) and supervised live-model treatment of lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Is HSI dermal filler training CPD accredited and recognised for insurance?
Yes. Every HSI filler training course is independently CPD-accredited via The CPD Group (provider #1001970) and counts toward GMC, GDC and NMC revalidation. Graduates are eligible for cosmetic medical malpractice cover with Hamilton Fraser Insurance from the day of completion.
How much does dermal filler training cost?
Foundation Dermal Fillers is £1,190 + VAT. Combined Foundation Botox & Dermal Fillers is £1,190 + VAT. Advanced filler masterclasses (cheeks, tear trough, cannula, chin & jaw, non-surgical rhinoplasty, lips) are typically £1,190 + VAT each. The Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine, which embeds advanced filler training, is £3,200 + VAT.
What is the difference between a Foundation filler course and an Advanced filler masterclass?
A Foundation dermal filler course covers low-risk indications (lips, nasolabial folds, marionettes) and is the entry route for new injectors. Advanced filler masterclasses are region-specific (cheeks, tear trough, jawline, non-surgical rhinoplasty) and require prior foundation training because of the higher vascular risk and the need for cannula proficiency.
