    How the trainer licence works

Four steps from application to delivering an accredited aesthetics course under the Harley Street Institute name.

    1

    Complete HSI trainer certification

An online, self-paced certification that gives you step-by-step instructions for delivering the HSI Foundation Day exactly to our standard and curriculum — from room setup and model selection to injection order, complication drills and sign-off.

    2

Delegates study the basics before they arrive

Your delegates complete HSI's online Foundation pre-course modules first. Most students do 6–8 hours of the "boring bits" — pharmacology, anatomy, consent and dilution — at home, so your practical day is hands-on from the first minute.

    3

    You deliver the practical locally

Run three to four hours of supervised, hands-on injectable training in your own clinic or venue, with your own models, in your own language and market. You teach technique and judgement, not basic pharmacology.

    4

You keep 75% of course revenue

HSI retains 25% to fund accreditation, quality assurance, certification, platform hosting and ongoing curriculum development. There is no upfront licence fee.

    Why licensed trainers choose HSI

Building an aesthetics course from nothing takes years — curriculum, accreditation, assessment, credibility. Licensing gives you all four on day one.

    Established CPD and AiCE accreditation

Your delegates are certified against an accreditation framework that already exists, is already audited and is already recognised — rather than a certificate you have to defend on your own.

    Peer-reviewed journal backing

Aesthetic Intelligence, HSI's peer-reviewed journal, sits behind the curriculum. Teaching from an evidence base that is published, cited and openly reviewed is a credibility signal no local course can improvise.

    Ready-made curriculum

Slides, protocols, consent frameworks, assessment banks and delegate modules are supplied and maintained. You spend your time teaching, not building course material.

    Ongoing marketing reach

Licensed trainers are listed and supported through HSI's content, journal readership and organic search reach, which brings enquiries to your country rather than only to London.

See the curriculum you would be licensed to deliver on the Foundation aesthetic medicine course page, or review our accreditation framework.

    Requirements to apply

We licence a small number of trainers per market. Applications are assessed against these standards before certification begins.

    • A licensed aesthetic physician, surgeon, dentist or equivalent regulated prescriber — GMC, GDC, NMC or your national medical or dental council registration.
    • A minimum of two years of independent aesthetic injectable practice, with a caseload you can evidence.
    • Access to a suitable clinical training space that meets local hygiene and safety regulation, plus reliable access to consenting models.
    • Current professional indemnity insurance covering both clinical practice and the training of other practitioners.
    • Written commitment to HSI quality standards: delegate ratios, assessment integrity, complication protocols, record keeping and periodic audit.
    • Working professional English for the trainer certification; the practical day may be delivered in your local language.

You keep 75% of every course you deliver

No upfront licence fee. HSI retains 25% to fund accreditation, quality assurance, certification and the platform your delegates learn on — so we are paid only when you are.
